Nell’s Story
Nell is inspired by the beloved Labrador Retriever—the most popular dog breed in North America. Known for their loyalty, intelligence, and gentle nature, Labs are trusted service animals, family pets, and hardworking heroes in search and rescue.
Nell is named after the first documented Lab: a dog photographed in 1857 belonging to the Earl of Home.
Fun Fact: Labradors always have solid-colored coats in black, yellow, or chocolate.
Gwyn’s Story
Gwyn is modeled after the King Penguin, known for its tall, elegant form and stunning colors. King Penguins drink saltwater and protect their eggs in special pouches on their feet—just like Gwyn protects your heart with every hug.
The name “Gwyn” comes from the original Welsh words pen (head) and gwyn (white), honoring the heritage and symbolism of connection.
Fun Fact: King Penguin chicks were once called “woolly penguins” by explorers!
